Nothing better then summer fruits in season. A summer strawberry is a treat by itself but for special occasion, mixed with some cream and mascarpone makes luxury, simple, delicious dessert.
Strawberries in Poland are amazing, the season for strawberries is only two months, June - July but in those months strawberries are red, sweet and plentiful! If you are lucky to be in Poland during the summer time you should really try them, best ones are at the local markets or if you are traveling by car, just stop by one of many sellers along the country roads, you won't regret it..
Method
Whip the cream together with icing sugar to a thick consistency, add the mascarpone cheese and continue mixing till mixed evenly.
Cut the strawberries in to 4-6 pieces. Prepare 10 glasses, divide half of the strawberries between the glasses, put cream on top of the strawberries and cover with another layer of strawberries.
Sprinkle with almond flakes on top.

- 250 ml whip cream
- 250 grams mascarpone cheese
- 3 tablespoons icing sugar
for serving:
- 500 grams strawberries
- 100 grams almond flakes
